Internal care service is one of the essential pillars of social work, as the center receives cases of elderly who have reached the age of 60 years without relatives or children, or whose families are unable to meet their needs to benefit from the appropriate levels of residential care that provides them with social protection.

This comes based on the second pillar of social development of the Qatar Vision 2030 to strengthen the family entity, strengthen its bonds, and preserve old age (active and safe aging).
